Context
In the digital age, event organizers must effectively reach a wider audience. Social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter are crucial for enhancing sales and visibility. This case study aims to improve event promotion and implement a one-click sharing feature in Immer.
Research & Planning
Conducted research to identify existing social sharing platforms and to determine the best way to implement them into a live event management sharing platform.
Design & Prototyping
Worked closely with designers to develop user-friendly interfaces and interactive prototypes. Applied empathy, defined requirements, ideated solutions, created prototypes, and tested designs prior to handing them off to the development team.
Key User Pain Points
Time-Consuming Workflows : Manually posting on different social platforms was time-consuming and required copying event information multiple times, often leading to inconsistencies.
Fragmented Experiences: Organizers had to balance communication between Immer and various social media accounts to ensure that event information was accurate across all platforms.
Low Engagement: Because of the cumbersome process, some organizers chose not to promote their events as widely, which negatively impacted event attendance and engagement.
Key Solution Points
Multi-Platform Integration: Organizers can link their Immer account to multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This provides a centralized place to manage all event promotions.
Easy Navigation: A button within the event management interface allows users to post directly to all their linked social media accounts, reducing the steps needed to share event updates.

Notable Points
Easy Disconnect feature: We decided to implement a disconnect feature that could easily be found, to give over and allow more control to the users regarding the status of their social media.
Key Points
Led a team to craft a social sharing experience focused on balancing ease of sharing with visually appealing design.
Gained valuable leadership experience through multiple iterations and team meetings.
Successfully passed the design review, enabling handoff to the development team.
